When I was 8 I wanted to fly very much. I persisted in my attempts even when my father explained to me about Newton and the apple; thinking that if I tried hard enough, I would be able, somehow, to hover a little bit above the ground. I was immortalized in one of my numerous attempts at “la plage.”
